The Nissan Sentra is well-known in the compact car segment. For 2026, it got a full redesign. It now includes ample tech, an abundance of safety features, and a new look inside and out. The Sentra’s great mix of affordability and accessories is easy to see when checking out each trim level. The 2026 Nissan Sentra offers four trim levels to choose from. Read on to see which one is right for you.
S Trim
With only seven new cars priced under $25,000 in 2026, the Sentra is an affordable choice. For $23,845 including destination fees, you can get an efficient and economical sedan. Estimated fuel economy is 30 city/38 highway/33 combined mpg. A 7-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen come standard, as does Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration — a first for the Sentra.
SV Trim
For a price bump of less than $1,000, the SV trim creates a value sweet spot. The SV trim costs $24,615 and includes premium cloth seats, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster replaces the 7-inch version, and aluminum-alloy wheels, in addition to the same fuel economy and connectivity as the S trim. Key fob remote start comes standard on this trim and those above it for added convenience. For about $800 more, you can enjoy these added perks in a fully redesigned car that’s still less than $25,000 total. That’s a deal.
SR Trim
There’s a significant price increase between the SV and SR trims. The 2026 Nissan Sentra SR starts at $26,245, reflecting a sportier approach to this model. The wheels get bigger (18-inch aluminum-alloy), the seats get fancier (optional leatherette with contrast stitching), and the sound increases with six standard speakers. Some details are sacrificed for this sporty version. For instance, mpg is slightly less (29 city/36 highway/32 combined), and there isn’t a Google Assistant. NissanConnect is available with a hotspot, as is wireless charging.
SL Trim
If a sedan with a premium feel is what you’re after, the Sentra SL could be the right fit. Nissan reintroduced the SL trim for this new generation, giving shoppers an aspirational option within the Sentra lineup. It’s the most expensive Sentra trim, priced at $29,235. Quilted seats, a Bose premium sound system, eight speakers, a moonroof, and heated driver and passenger seats are just some of the perks of this upscale version of the sedan.
Which Trim is Right for You?
If money is your main concern, the S trim’s affordability can’t be beat, especially for a newly redesigned generation. For those wanting to feel a little more luxe while still staying within budget, the SV trim is a smart option. From there, it’s all about whether you want a sporty or premium feel.
