What Owners are Saying About the 2000 Nissan Frontier Regular Cab

"Nearly 600 thousand miles what?"

"I bought this truck from a good friend after it sat for a while, it was used as an auto parts delivery truck for a bunch of years. The trick with this truck is to use synthetic oil and check and change fluids. This truck was also driven 120 miles per day for Years and years, and years. This is not by any means a fast truck, load on motor is low, and that is why it has 600 K miles, you will notice that they are expensive for the year like in the 4 to 5 thousand dollars range, that is because they will last forever with a little care, my whole truck is original engine, stick trans, rear end and even A/C, and only now A/C has a slow leak (like in 3 months time needs recharged) but I'm looking for another one, because I'm greedy and don't really need it."

"Wish I could drive it forever."

"This truck is part of our family. Bought it about 17 years ago from the Nissan dealership I worked for at the time. It’s been nothing but reliable since I’ve owned it. I drove a 22 Frontier last week and it was nice but I’ll take my basic truck any day."

"Great truck: durable, dependable, cheap to own"

"Bought this one used in 2006 and have put over 100k on it. I use it: hauled stone, gravel, soil, compost, construction debris, junk--you name it. Also used it to tow a boat and a car (not at the same time). Mine's the 2.5l four cylinder and automatic. It's not going to win any races but the truck just works. Still looks good at 14 years old. Only needs have been brake calipers (aftermarket ones stick), tires, fluid changes. The exhaust pipes got welded up twice but I've not replaced them. Highway mileage (empty, at 70-75) is 26 mpg."
