What Owners are Saying About the 2026 Maserati Grecale
"Beware serious issues no resolution"
"Review: Maserati Grecale - 2-Year Ownership Experience I’ve owned my Maserati Grecale for two years, and unfortunately, it’s been a disappointing experience, plagued by recurring issues that have eroded my trust in the brand. Here’s a detailed breakdown: 1. Reliability Issues • Service Center Time: In just two years, my car spent four months in the service center. That’s unacceptable for a luxury SUV. • Engine Problems: Stalling issues occurred multiple times, even after repeated repairs. This made the car unreliable and unsafe to drive. 2. AC and Climate Control Failures • The air conditioning frequently malfunctioned, especially during long drives. Despite multiple visits to the service center, the problem persisted. 3. Technology Flaws • Apple CarPlay Connectivity: The system is glitchy, often disconnecting or freezing, making it frustrating to use for navigation or music streaming. • Navigation System: The built-in navigation is outdated and inaccurate, falling far behind competitors in its class. 4. Parking Brake Issues • The parking brake engaged itself unexpectedly on multiple occasions. This is a serious flaw that could lead to dangerous situations. 5. Poor Customer Support • Maserati’s customer service has been disappointing, with slow responses and a lack of accountability. Each repair was met with vague explanations and no permanent solutions. Verdict While the Maserati Grecale looks stunning and performs well on rare occasions when it’s working, the consistent reliability and support issues make it impossible to recommend. A luxury car should deliver not just style but also dependability and a seamless ownership experience—this vehicle has fallen short on all fronts. Rating: 2/10 (for aesthetics and the rare days it worked without issue). Consider other options in this price range before committing."
"Way better than what people think!"
"I’ve had a fantastic experience with my Maserati Grecale. From the moment I got behind the wheel, I was blown away by the balance of luxury, performance, and everyday practicality. The design is sleek and modern—easily one of the most stylish SUVs on the market—and the driving dynamics are smooth, confident, and responsive. One of the most pleasant surprises has been the reliability. Maserati has long been unfairly looked over because of older reputation issues, but that narrative is seriously outdated. The new generation of Maseratis, especially under the Stellantis umbrella, is a completely different story. The build quality is top-notch, and the engineering is clearly more refined and dependable. Maserati now shares its parts and technology with established brands like Jeep, Chrysler, and Ram—all backed by Mopar, a service and parts network with a strong reputation in the U.S. This means access to more reliable components and much easier service options. You're not dealing with niche or hard-to-find parts anymore. It’s smart engineering paired with Italian luxury. Our service and maintenance experience has also been excellent—professional, prompt, and straightforward. We’ve had no mechanical issues at all. The only minor hiccup has been the occasional wireless connection issue, which resolves on its own and hasn’t affected overall usability. If you're someone who’s been hesitant because of "old Maserati" stereotypes, I highly recommend giving the new models, especially the Grecale, a test drive. These are well-built, practical luxury vehicles that don’t compromise on style or experience. Maserati is finally delivering what people have always wanted from the brand—and it shoes."
"First Maserati"
"After driving VW's and Toyota's most of my life, I wanted something special. The design caught my eye. It is elegant and drives like a dream. Not the most practical vehicle and some other high end SUV's may be better deals, but I like this car."
