"Having owned several SUV's of various brands I have to say this has been a very reliable vehicle. Much better value then an Escalade. I had to replace the air ride at 160000 miles with standard shock/strut setup, CD player died, otherwise no major issues. Ride, size, comfort beats the heck out of my 2005 Escalade... So happy we purchased a 2007 Navigator in 2011. Another excellent vehicle except some paint issues."
"I could never afford a luxury vehicle of this caliber new. So I did the next best thing and bought a used one. I waited until just the right one came along, and I haven't been disappointed yet. It's at the age where some things are starting to break, but overall the value is still there. I don't recommend it if you drive a lot or have a long commute, because the 11 MPG will be painful. I plan to be the last owner of this wonderful vehicle."
"Normal maintenance and parts for a vehicle this age. No transmission issues, drivetrain issues. Runs strong.
If you take care of it I think it will easily last 250,000 miles and it is very comfortable."
Cons: "bad gas miliage best when using cruse control."

"I think Lincoln could have made the odom numbers a little bigger, hard to judge the MPH. The clock is so small that it renders it all but useless. I get better gas mileage with the 89 oct than with the recommended 92 oct. The gas pedal is like a feather touch you really have to barley touch it to get moving any harder and it snaps your neck."
