About Kia Amanti

What if you could have all the luxury trappings of a $50,000 sedan in a stylish four-door costing about half as much? That's the promise Kia's Amanti offers, albeit without the high resale value and premium-sedan status of the higher-priced choices. For those unconcerned by such trivialities, the 2009 Kia Amanti delivers a smooth ride, decent handling, a huge rear seat and a competent V6 engine. Among the Amanti's long list of standard features are heated side mirrors, one-touch up/down power windows, an eight-way adjustable power driver's seat and a power sunroof. Compared to a Buick Lucerne, Lincoln MXZ and Chrysler 300, the Amanti appears a tempting alternative, and with its standard 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, concerns about long-term reliability are put aside.

"A lot of bang for the buck! Went to dealer to purchase a used Lincoln, but saw the Amanti on the lot and had no idea what it was. It has all of the aesthetics of the luxury car models in its class, without the price tag. I have owned it for 7 years now, and still love it. It has been so dependable and easy to maintain."

"I own a 2007 Kia Amanti and has been driving it for the last 5 years. I am yet to have a single problem with it. It looks great and interior is quiet and made of high quality materials. I am a fan of art and this car's designers showed some artistic sense by paying attention to the fine details such as seating controls. It drives so smooth and has a lot of power. Anyone who drove it often comments about how fast it responds to a small press on accelerator. I am not the one who cares about brand names. Some people like to buy a basic BMW car and show off but this car comes with great features and reliability at a much lower cost. I recommend it strongly to anyone. Great job Kia!!!"

Pros: "Great price, for the luxury . drives like a dream"

Cons: "Can't think of any."

"The Kia Amanti is the best looking and best driving car I have ever had. The leather interior is soft and very comfy and the space is great. Fits 5 very comfortably. The trunk is very big as well. This car drives like any luxury vehicle you can imagine, but without the expense! We did have to have the 6 disc chnager/radio replaced about 2 years ago. But other than that, it has just been regular maintenance. If you like a roomy sedan with all the bells and whistles, for an unbeatable price, then the Amanti is for you. Although Kia discontinued this model, if you can find a pre owned, it will be a great car for years to come!"
