Positive Review
This car was built by Honda and is actually the Honda Odyssey. We have owned it since day one and all I have done is the generaql maintance on the vehicle. Overall an excellent car. I have used Mobil 1 5w30 and change the oil every 5000 miles. The gas milage is good and the car still runs very well. I have no complaints about this vehicle at all.
Critical Review
I purchased this van with over 150 miles back in 2002 and I got my money's worth! I expected to have it for a couple of years and then get something newer, but this held up so well, why create a car note. I've had a few repairs, nothing major. With regular oil changes, tire rotations and tune ups, we've gotten along fine. Now that it's almost 16 years old, I'm ready for something new. The major drawback is that there are no cup holders in the front, which can be very annoying.

Reliable comfortable, economical, can do anything
..but win drag races or tow a trailer.
The car was 2 years old when I bought it 13 years ago, purposely seeking the Isuzu to benefit from not paying for the Honda name. But a Honda it has been in the best sense of the brand. It is an LS with the 2nd row buckets, seating 6. I highly recommend this arrangement if you don't absolutely need the 7th seat. I've run surf long boards, flag poles and studs right up the middle, while keeping the 2nd row seats in place. It has been my wife's daily driver for all 13 years, plus the preferred family hauler, vacation vehicle (with more trips between Houston and LA than I can count) cargo hauler. Desert in the summer. Mountains in the winter. Packed full inside with a pack on the roof. The Oasis has done it all with nothing but routine maintenance. It just may have the best space packaging of any vehicle you can buy. You will be hard pressed to find any sedan or SUV with more 2nd rear leg room and the seatbacks recline. And yet traveling cross-country with our family of four and way too much luggage and averaging about 70 I average about 28, and its about the same around town empty with one or two people in the car. It's no hot rod and it will downshift up inclines, but that kicks it into VTEC so it keeps pulling. I wondered if there would ever be a reason to replace this car. But I'm buying a trailer and it won't pull it, so here I am looking to see what I will be able to get for it. It won't be what its worth. Not by a long shot.

the area around the rear windshield wiper rusts
because of the high mileage (257,000) we feel we should shop to replace this car. aren't cars supposed to die? however, there is nothing like it on the market today. it still runs incredibly well. we would buy it again in a second.
I have a small family and this is the best car we ever owned, great on gas, all fuctions are very usefull.
7 passenger, drives well
no cup holders,

This vehicle has been in the family since it was new. It went from my sister to my niece to my nephew to my other sister and to me. I picked it up in Ca. two weeks ago and drove it back to Phoenix without a hitch. The 17 gallon gas tank brought me from Sherman Oaks to within 40 miles of my house. 26 miles to the gallon hwy and not sure about city yet; still on same tank of gas since last sunday. I drive it 30 miles a day. This vehicle handles well, drives great and has the reliability Honda demands. My Oasis has just over 191000 miles on it and is going strong. I gave 3 stars on styling because I prefer a pickup other than that it is very aerodynamic. Lots of room in the back for my camping gear.
I've had more mechanical problems w/ this van than expected for a (Honda). The rear seats are very awkward to get into w/ car seats in the middle. The road noise is a loud and it seems to use more oil than it should
