INFINITI Q70

INFINITI Q70

About INFINITI Q70

The 2017 Infiniti Q70 luxury sedan is Infiniti’s largest and most expensive non-SUV offering. As the flagship sedan, the Q70 must not only do battle with more technically sophisticated models such as the BMW 5 Series and Cadillac CT6, but also newer makes like the Genesis G80. Power is supplied by a choice of V6, V8 or hybrid engines driving the rear wheels with the option of all-wheel drive (AWD) just a checkbox away. Long-wheelbase models offer impressive rear-seat legroom, and all Q70s are loaded with the company’s best technology and performance equipment. Still, in a space crowded with competitors like the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Lexus GS and Cadillac CT6, the Q70 won’t always come in first place.

Beautiful. Infiniti nailed this one.

"As much as we admire MB E350s, Audi A6/A7s, BMW 5 series, or the Jaguars the Infinti Q70 is the real deal. Especially in the Sport variant of the 3.7. This car has been disparaged in the auto press, which I do not understand as it is highly competent. One does not need a super car to enjoy the ride; one needs a companion in arms. This the Q 70 S delivers in spades for value. It's big - bigger than any of the above mentioned; has a gorgeous interior; and handles just about as well as its younger sibling, the Q50. In Sport trim the 3.7 is no slouch with 20" wheels and big brakes. Would one pay $20000 more to get the cachet or would one pay a reasonable price to get great reliability and great service? Not to mention a great car."

"This is my second Infiniti, I got the Q70L which has such a sexy profile when you look at from side angle , Preferred this over the BMW 5 and the Lexus G series This car is about 10K dollars less than the BMW with the same options"

Pros: "Great Handling, Fun to drive, Loaded safety"

Cons: "No Apple Car Play available"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"The Q70S (AWD sport package) with the 20x9 rims, 4/2 piston Front/Rear opposed brake calipers and stiffer springs are a great combination of ride, handling, braking. The 7 speed automatic is smooth and increases the fuel economy over the 5 speed auto M35x I had. Great Powertrain/Chassis feel. Some of the Tech package additional safety has been tested in 1st 1000 miles and performs well, even rear cross traffic brake mitigation when in reverse and under 5 mph already tested. The seating in the AWD sport package has added side bolsters, very supportive, comfortable. More headroom & ability to raise seat higher than new BMW 5 Series, Lexus GS & Volvo S90 I compared to ahead of purchase in March 2017. Only missing tech so far is Apple Car Play. With Tech, AWD Sport & Sport Touring packages 62,000 sticker vs comparably equipped 2017 BMW 5 series I drove at 81,000 sticker. BMW bowed in front corners vs Infiniti Q70 holding the corners with now bow-in. Glad I waited to test new BMW 5 series & others, satisfied with decision on the Q70S 3.7 AWD Sport."
