About Infiniti Q70

Formerly known as the M, the Q70 is Infiniti's flagship luxury sedan. The 2016 Infiniti Q70 is available in a variety of trims and with powertrains that range from a standard V6 to a stout V8 and a hybrid that splits the power/efficiency equation. As befits a luxury-sports sedan, rear-wheel drive (RWD) is the Q70's de facto layout, while all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional for drivers desiring enhanced traction. The long-wheelbase Q70L offers more room in back for passengers. The Q70 has a good combination of verve, value and amenities, but it gets lost in the crowd of more established, more sophisticated rivals like the Lexus GS, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and new Cadillac CT6.

For 2015, the Infiniti Q70 welcomes in a new (to the U.S.) long-wheelbase model and brings along an additional 5.6 inches of rear legroom with it. Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection is now available while Forward Emergency Braking and Backup Collision Intervention join the Technology Package.

2014 Infiniti Q70

For 2014, the Infiniti Q70 gets a new name, dropping its previous M moniker to bring it in line with the rest of Infiniti's new Q-based naming scheme. Rear-drive Sport models also get an oil cooler and revised spring and shock settings, but that's it for changes.

Beautiful. Infiniti nailed this one.

"As much as we admire MB E350s, Audi A6/A7s, BMW 5 series, or the Jaguars the Infinti Q70 is the real deal. Especially in the Sport variant of the 3.7. This car has been disparaged in the auto press, which I do not understand as it is highly competent. One does not need a super car to enjoy the ride; one needs a companion in arms. This the Q 70 S delivers in spades for value. It's big - bigger than any of the above mentioned; has a gorgeous interior; and handles just about as well as its younger sibling, the Q50. In Sport trim the 3.7 is no slouch with 20" wheels and big brakes. Would one pay $20000 more to get the cachet or would one pay a reasonable price to get great reliability and great service? Not to mention a great car."

"This is my second Infiniti, I got the Q70L which has such a sexy profile when you look at from side angle , Preferred this over the BMW 5 and the Lexus G series This car is about 10K dollars less than the BMW with the same options"

Pros: "great car, great engine, transmission, a/c Bose"

Cons: "depreciation of almost $20000 after one year."

"had a 2011 m37 and loved it sold it to get an suv, an Acura which was a good vehicle but certainly did not have the features of the m37 so two years later sold it and got a 2014 Q70 which is essentially the exact same vehicle as the M37 with just a few features added..I loved the M37 and now love the q70 even more.. what a great car.. smooth transmission plenty of power, Bose radio, superb sound, fantastic A/C.. my only complaint is that the list price of the 2014 was $3000 higher than the sale price of the 2015 with the exact same equipment so automatically the 2014 is worth $3000 less and in fact the 2014 is now worth almost $20,000 less after only one year..that is a terrific depreciation on a car in one year.."
