2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Consumer Reviews

I purchased the Platinum model in February 2026 expecting the best experience possible in a new car. But I was and still am extremely disappointed in the audio system! The only option outside of AM and FM radio is Apple Car Play from my phone! It does not mirror my phone and it takes forever to navigate the arrangement of the programming. It does not save any previous playlist locations and requires several minutes of phone use to listen to what I want to listen to! The opening menue always reverts to preselected iTunes radio channels and suggested albums and songs that are not in my phone programs. This aspect of the vehicle would have almost been a deal breaker for me had I been aware of it! If you were interested in Sirius XM, same issues! Also, for some reason, the reception of the local FM station channel, WTN Nashville, randomly cuts out to the menue screen and has to be re-selected to listen to the programing. It repeats this after about 15 seconds of listening and continues for 10 to 15 minutes disrupting traffic broadcasts and whatever else I have been listening to. Also, the advertised milage for this vehicle is 40 city, 34 highway. The average never gets over 38.1. Yes the window sticker says 37. Since my miles are all city, I was hoping for better!

Amazing gas milage. In city I get over 40mpg. Highway is 36 depending if I'm using sport mode. There is a noise when driving in reverse or slower and that is the battery working...the wipers spray out directly in front of the wipers and they don't work super well because of that. It would be nice if it sprayed the entire windshield like my last crv did. Great safety features. Idk who's getting their car stolen but if you lock it you shouldn't have a problem.... mainly posting this review to combat the ding dongs who don't understand vehicle ownership. If you car is great until you get to 75k miles it's because you've used your car and it's maintenance time. This is a normal part of owning and using a car regularly. I did notice the inclement weather car cause the sensors in the front to stop working completely. The notice tells me the Honda emblem needs cleaned and it's just covered in mist or rain. My 2020 crv did not have this issue. My biggest concern was sacrificing power for a hybrid vehicle and the sport hybrid has amazing power. I climb hills and mountains great under econ mode and even better in sport. I can fly in this car! Not that you should! Be careful in sport mode. You don't notice how fast you can get up to.

CRV Hybrid is a terrific vehicle… it drives well, very responsive… excellent visibility… good lighting at night… excellent mileage.. fantastic storage options… only drawback back with large wheel option is the tight drive and road noise…

After spending some time with the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring, it’s easy to see why it’s one of the best all-around SUVs. The updated infotainment system and screen is crisp, responsive, and intuitive to use, while the Bose audio system delivers a genuinely premium listening experience. The leather seats are soft, supple, and extremely comfortable, making longer drives feel effortless. Wireless Apple CarPlay is a must-have and works great, although the native Google-based interface isn’t optimal. I still need to take it on a proper road trip and put the AWD system through its paces, but so far my only real complaint is that real-world MPG seems to average closer to 33 MPG than what’s being advertised.

This vehicle rides really well, very comfortable seating, very reliable. Powertrain is very smooth. Touch screen is easy to use. At a steady 45mph, I have had gas mileage in the low 50's. One of the best vehicles I have owned.

Our car was stolen across the street. Terrible safety features. Noisy engine. Horrible MPG. Cheap materials. We had a 2024 EXL non Hybrid

The CRV Hybrid has exceeded my expectations -- really good MPG approx. 36/37 and tons of room! Perfect size for driving around your dogs. I'm very content with my purchase of this vehicle.

This car is fun to drive, economical and versatile. Great design with attention to details. Our only complaints are the cell phone charger is finicky and the car doesn’t like steep grades.
