If only the new CR-V had the venerable and super reliable 2.4 liter engine! The 1.5 Turbo engine WILL require longer cool down and warm up times, more frequent oil changes, spark plug changes, etc. Major and very expensive components of this turbo engine HAVE failed at between 40,000 and 70,000 miles. So... you may be able to make it to the end of the warranty period. After that, I wish y'all the best. I've been a Honda fan for almost 40 years now. Trust me, I am sad to see Honda use a small displacement turbo engine in a roughly 3,525 lb. vehicle. I know a few other automakers are doing the same thing. But Honda used to be BETTER than the rest. In some ways, they still are. And I remain a Fan of Honda, still. ALL buyers, do your homework and decide for yourself. I wish y'all the best in whatever you decide to do. Y'all take care.

Car is plain on outside, no style just a box, at 5ft 9 inches 170 wt this car is tuff to feel like your in comfortable it has a power seat too. Just does not sit correctly. It feels bulky and its so noisy with tire and wind noise even at low speeds terrible and no excuse. Cheap with no outside cosmetics. Car seats sits hard not comfy. Tuff to see outside lots of blockage. Shifts smooth. Color red looks good. Cheap painted wheels not chrome. The car lacks chrome most areas. Not worth the money priced to high. Car has room. Materials cheap. Engine is fine but again to much noise when driving off from a standstill. Not impressed at all. Would not recommend. The car is scalped, cheap. This is 2024 come on get with it, get a nice shape and design stop with being so poorly looks and cutting costs, after so many price increases the last 2 plus years.

Road noise
We have owned or leased 5 Hondas in the past 21 years. I am currently leasing a 2025 CR-V EX-L and will have it for 12 more months unless I buy it at lease-end. My biggest gripe with Hondas is road noise over 50 mph. For what the CR-V costs, a bit more insulation would be nice, although with each subsequent CR-V I've owned the road noise has lessened. My 2025 CR-V does not hold the road very well on gravel/dirt surfaces. Granted, I have factory tires. I'm getting up to 34 mpg around town and under 50 mph. On interstate about 36-ish. Winter gets around 28 mpg.
We love our 2019 so it seemed to make sense to buy a 2026. However, the newer model seems like a downgrade with all the changes that make no sense. These are the things you dont notice until you drive it home 1) No garage door button - we just want a button not to fumble through the screen. 2) seems less powerful 3) I know how to park a car in the garage- dont need every light and beep going off because I am two feet from something. Its a garage its supposed to be tight 4) Back up camera - someone decided to add an icon in the right of the backup camera which obscures to view of cars coming from the right when backing up. 5) Gear shifter is not smooth when you try to shift from D to P when you hit R you feel like its done and you are in P, but its still in R. 6) Not a fan of the screen but thats the trend - its basically a fancy radio right now. No logical way to get to the apps - I still have not found a YouTube video that show how this thing works.
Have had Honda autos since 1972. Cars have been great but dealers soso. They need more colors, just like all the manufacturers. Sick of silver, gray, white, black, wine, navy.
We Found That Our CRV Does Not Like Inclines And Highway Gas Mileage Is Horrible. The Hybrid Assist Revs To Max And The Car Loses Speed And The Gas Mileage Plummets When Going Up A Grade Like The 15 To Las Vegas. This Car Is Unsafe. Honda Has Been No Help Either.
This makes my second CRV and I am loving the EXL trim. It has plenty of room and drives smooth unless on rough roads. I love the power tailgate, leather seats and the 9inch screen instead of 7 inch that was in my last CRV. Just wish it didn’t have wind noise from the windshield. Overall, it is very comfortable to drive and gets good gas mileage fir what driving I do.

This is the second CR-V EX-L I've owned. It is superior in quality and performance over any brand I've owned over the years. No major issues, great gas milage, great safety features, and well appointed. It's a solid car, and I will soon purchase another as a second car. I would highly recommend Honda CR-V AWD EX-L.

I am hoping Honda has fixed the design flaws of the 1.5L but only time will tell. I had a 2025 Civic Sport which caused back and hip pain. I give many thanks to the dealership I have dealt with for helping me out tremendously. Although some things could be a little better I am very happy with the change.

Glitchy radio, plagued 1.5L engine
I traded a 2025 Civic Sport for a 2026 CR-V EX because of comfort and other issues. I just bought it so it is still brand new. I will update my review after a few months. I have noticed the infotainment is glitching mostly with the wireless android auto but sometimes happens with wired as well. I hope the issues of the 1.5L turbo nightmares were somehow fixed or bettered as I've had that nightmare before.
