Positive Review
Bought my 2024 CRV hybrid before our cross country trip. We needed a bigger car than our 2018 Audi Q3. We bought the Sport model. Gas mileage averaging 65 + 50 percent of the time was not great about 32 mpg. Since arrival to our destination city and highway about 35 mpg. Blind spot sensor needed to be replaced at around 4.5k miles. Dealer had to remove rear bumper and now need to fix both rear well moldings which popped out a bit on both sides after a few weeks of driving. Android and Apple Auto have had issues. I'm not sure why. I only wished I went and bought the L version for the parking sensors and trunk release, etc but didn't want to spend an extra 2k. Instead put the 2k into an extended warranty. Handles well and comfortable. I'm 6 ft.

I have driven my Sport-L for two years and 27k miles. The best part about this car is its drivetrain compared to others in its class. The 2L engine is never loud and the car smoothly transitions in and out of electric-only mode. The e-CVT is responsive to throttle and is relatively quick to accelerate when you need the power. The safety features are not intrusive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane-centering features work nicely, even in traffic. The emergency braking system works well and can be adjusted. Another pro is that it's super spacious. It fits huge Costco runs and the back seats have great legroom. The front seats could be more comfortable, though. I find the aggressive bolstering digs into my thighs. I'm not even a big guy and it's still noticeable on long trips. This type of bolstering is better suited for a sporty car, rather than a family hauler. The interior is inoffensive and practical. The buttons and dials are accesible and easy to use. The auto-dimming rearview mirror is a life saver. The AC works well but sometimes you have to lower it a couple of degrees because it leans towards efficiency. Glitches with the infotainment have been due to issues with Android Auto, rather than the Honda software. However, the new CR-V is not a good value. Almost $40k for a FWD car with no heated steering wheel, no cooled seats, a basic audio system, no HUD, no satellite navigation, a manual passenger seat with no height adjustment, no spare tire, no wiper fluid sensor, no tire pressure monitor, and no back seat release in the trunk was hard to swallow. The Sport Touring was too expensive and came with things that we really didn't want like AWD and 19 inch wheels. I wish Honda would offer more options on the mid-level trims and not force you into the Touring to get features that most competitors include. I still like it!
GAS MILEAGE, AT TIMES NEAR 40 MPG
RELIABILITY
on 5/24/25 at stop sign, vehicle locked up. no ability to move forward or reverse. multiple warning lights lit including brake malfunction. towed to a dealership where bad battery cell was diagnosed. new battery installed. on 6/2/25, on country road, multiple warning light lit up. complete loss of power from gas engine. able to get home on hybrid battery but flat surfaces and slight inclines only able to muster about 15 mph. now awaiting AAA tow arranged by Honda Roadside Assistance. no longer confidant that i can get from point A to point B without being possibly stranded somewhere.
Comfortable ride. Like the info screen.Like the Crv pickup.Would definitely buy my car again. Wish I had bought Honda sooner.
Excellent ride and great gas mileage. First CRV and I am really liking it so far. Would highly recommend.
Appearance spacious comfortable
Front passenger seat sets very low compared to driver side.
Love the interior space for a compact and being able to slide right in and out without squatting down or stepping up. Lots of complements on overall appearance. Drives great, just got it and super satisfied!
I've been leasing with Honda since 2011. I've had a few Accords, a 2022 CRV and now a 2025 CRV. My 22 was great. Great on gas, interior was comfortable and I felt as though I got what I paid for. The 2025 feels cheaper but it was overpriced. The hybrid is horrible in the winter, averaging about 25 mpg. My wife has a Sienna and her minivan gets better winter mpg at about 32. The engine is louder than my 22, and it feels less powerful when I accelerate. This might be my last Honda. Very disappointed in a car that I now have to drive for 2 more years
I LOVE THIS CAR, EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS FINE.. I AM A CAREER HONDA OWNER - I WAS NOT DISA PPOINTED IN MY CR-V HYBRID/SPORT/TOURING - GAS MILAGE, SPORT MODE, COMFORT, SAFETY - PERIOD.
Heated steering wheel, comfort, styling, reliability
Subscription garage door opener. Has heated seats but no cooling seats.
I bought this car one week ago and it is the most comfortable car I have ever owned. The only accessory I wish Honda would include is the old style button to open the garage door. The current model forces the owner to subscribe to My Garage in Honda Link.
