White Escape Hybrid titanium. Glad we decided on this instead of Rav4. It's a luxury car for us 'middle-weight' type people. Everything is fine...right now. More satisfied with the 2020 model than our 2016 titanium. Quiet, handles well, like switches, leather upholstery comfortable, visibility good, safety good, very good audio, and good grunt when needed. Driving 2/3's city and 1/3rd highways(2 lane mostly) currently averaging 42.2 mpg!'
Critical Review
Car has the 3 cyl eng..would not recommend it to anyone..has vibration in high gear on highway like it is underpowered...transmission is jerky at startup..maybe a different engine would make a difference but maybe not..not satisfied at all with my escape..

When.my.smart cellphone in the car, the battery drains. The radio and cellphone plays at the same time. I have taken it back the Galphin Ford, twice and once to Vista Ford. The second time to Galphin Ford, for them to keep, a couple days or so, the person had spoken with he had drove it and didn't see any thing, he only drove it for three miles, having a attitude about the hold situation. This car has less three thousand miles on it, for all these problems. Yesterday it started up again.
Bought my car brand new February 2023. It’s a 2022 model sports package. Love the way it handles. rarely uses gas as I do mostly in town errands. Smaller than my previous Non plug-in Ford Escape, but actually like it that way. Backseat does fold down and plenty of rear cargo room.
Looks nice, usually lots of discounts
Third rate interior, garbage seats, engine moans under basic driving, bad interior layout
Drove one of these for 10 months. The interior is garbage, the engine strains in the city, and the seats feel like they are stuffed with hay. Even for a base trim it feels incredibly poverty with a high price for the lack of things you get.
My Ford Escape is reliable and gets good mileage. I like driving this car because it drives like a car. I would buy an Escape again if only Ford did not stop production of this car.
I really wish I never purchased this vehicle. It seems to always have a recall. The Air conditioner was leaking into the car causing it to flood. Welds keep breaking. The engine light has been on and off for emissions issues and recalls. The door welds broke and now the bracket is loose in the door so I can't use my window. Recalled doors have been on order for almost a year!!! I can't seem to keep this thing out of a garage.
We have had our escape hybrid 5 years. I tell my friends you get free oil changes, tires and brake work for the life of the car. That's how much the savings in fuel amounts too! We drive 10,000 miles a year which add to the savings. The seats could be softer and ride smoother otherwise a great car!
Fuel Mileage/Infotainment
RESALE VALUE/RECALLS
I will say our 2020 Ford Escape SE has done my wife and I fairly well. It gets good gas mileage, handles rather well, and love the Ford infotainment above all. Although we got stuck with several recalls of course. The AWD module went out and several things quit working in the vehicle. Aside from that the resale value is just absolutely pathetic. Should have figured buying a Ford. Our next vehicle will be a Honda or Toyota, so if you're reading this thinking about buying a Ford Escape, don't! We even went to the extent to see if Ford would buy it back because we just no longer wanted to deal with it. They weren't helpful at all, I also figured that would be the case too.
Owned my Escape PHEv. for 6 months now. Not one visit to the dealer! Great gas mileage, and even better when using the Plug in daily.
