What Owners are Saying About the 2000 Dodge Intrepid
"Decent second car"
"I picked this car up for a cheap price. I’ve replaced the wheel bearings, brakes and put new tires on it. These are maintenance items that wear out on any car. The check engine light is on and the codes read either a purge valve solenoid or canister or both. I’m starting with the solenoid. The car runs fine. It has the 2.7 liter so it’s rather weak, but it gets the job done. I keep an eye on the coolant level and oil as the 2.7 engines are known to be problematic. So far so good. It is a attractive car in my opinion. I didn’t pay much so if it last a year or two I will feel I got my money’s worth."
"Good investment"
"Bought this car 6 years ago as my first car with a little over 100k. My only real complaint with this car is the emissions system that plagued my check engine light for a few years, its to the point I ignore it now. Also the power window guy on my drivers side has gone out twice. But, I bought this car for 3k and have invested about 3k in repairs over the years I think it was a pretty good investment. Now itching to get a replacement"
"dependable, engine always starts, exc. in snow,"
"reliable car, always starts, good in snow, original owners, non smokers, 4 door, sunroof, huge trunk,,pretty gold color, needs some overheating work, ac works, but needs a shot of freon"
