Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned

Effective for CPO vehicles sold on or after April 1, 2026, Volkswagen combines its Limited and Powertrain warranties into a single CPO Limited Warranty of 2 years/24,000 miles. If the vehicle retains some of its 4-year/50,000-mile New Car Limited Warranty, the CPO Limited Warranty begins when the New Car Limited Warranty expires. A vehicle must pass VW’s 100-plus-point inspection and is of the appropriate age to qualify for the program. VW doesn’t state a maximum mileage for eligibility, so check with your dealer. Electric vehicles are covered by the same terms as gas vehicles, but the High-Voltage Battery comes with an 8-year/100,000-mile limited warranty from the original in-service date that protects against defects in materials and workmanship and maintains a capacity of at least 70%.

The CPO sale includes 24/7 roadside assistance (provided by a third party) and trip interruption coverage for two years from purchase. Trip interruption applies for a mechanical breakdown over 100 miles from home and is limited to $500 per incident. Any necessary repairs under warranty incur a $50 deductible per service. The warranty is transferable.
