Chevrolet Certified Pre-Owned
Chevrolet’s Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program mirrors the Buick and GMC programs and piles on the benefits. To qualify, a used Chevrolet vehicle must have a clean title, be within six model years with a maximum of 75,000 miles, and pass a 172-point vehicle inspection and reconditioning process. Buyers get a free vehicle history report to confirm the car’s status.
Chevy CPO cars come with a 12-month/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty. If the vehicle has any remaining new car warranty, the CPO warranty starts when it expires. CPO includes a 6-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty measured from the vehicle’s original in-service date. The warranties are transferrable and carry a $0 deductible. A 24/7 roadside assistance program runs alongside the powertrain warranty and includes courtesy transportation or reimbursement of transportation expenses (up to a $280 limit). OnStar-equipped vehicles have a limited trial, and cars with SiriusXM capability get a 3-month trial subscription. The CPO sale includes the first two scheduled maintenance visits (oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and a multi-point inspection) at no cost in the first 24 months or 24,000 miles. You’ve got three days or 150 miles (whichever comes first) to change your mind and exchange your CPO Chevy for another CPO vehicle in stock.
CarBravo
This General Motors program is the automakers’ attempt to run a hybrid onsite/online marketplace for Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC certified used vehicles. CarBravo vehicles come with a 6-month/6,000-mile limited bumper-to-bumper warranty, while BravoBudget vehicles come with a 30-day/1,000-mile limited powertrain warranty. Vehicles in the program are from Chevrolet and any other brand with less than 10 model years old with fewer than 100,000 miles of service. They undergo a 126-point inspection and come with a vehicle history report, 24/7 roadside assistance, and a 10-day/500-mile vehicle exchange program.
