Pros: "good gas milage, roomy, ample hp., handles well"

Cons: "leaky rims,"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"put my 3rd set of tires on at 165000 mi. On the highway at 60 mph avgs. 30 mpg. overall mpg usually is around 21. has original starter, alternator, and exhaust system. did have to replace rack and pinion at about 140,000 mi. replaced shocks and struts at about 140,000 mi. think I wasted my money on that as i didn't see any noticeable diff. in ride. car handles very well and is excellent in snow. have had problems with drivers side window. Clip that mounts to window came unglued and had to be replaced. Chrome alloy rims corrode along the tire bead and I had to replace two rims. Chrysler wanted $720.00 ea.rin. Went to Keystone and bought reconditioned rims for $240 ea. Overall extremely happy with this car."

Pros: "Reliable, classy, low maintenance, great amenities"

Cons: "somewhat low to ground"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"A joy to drive. All the extra features have worked for all these miles. Very low maintenance. Transmission still fine. This car can fly! Excellent acceleration! Very comfortable, classy looking even at 10 years old. Excellent paint. Only issue is that it rides so low that it can be difficult in the snow to keep the front end from getting damaged. But it gets through snow just fine. We have the 300M Special and it truly is a beautiful car."

Pros: "Acceleration Handling Quiet"

Cons: "Chrysler turned them into gas guzzelin Rolls Royce"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I drive 104 miles primarily highway and secondary highway miles roundtrip to work and have driven the 300m more times in snow, last year than my old Wrangler due to the extra large windshield and the Quadratrac system - in sleet, snow or ice - 'course much of that is reliant upon the driver, such as no hard breaking when slowing down. We get a lot of wind in the spring and fall. The 2000 300m has a lower Center of gravity, is a slightly heavier and solid car and is a quiet ride, which, keeps it on the highway and me out of our hatchback for that very reason. Just turned 227K miles and will probably run it to 300K - Still averaging 23 1/2 Miles to the gallon Highway. Have tried to persuade my co-workers to considering sell their 1999, 2000 or 2002 to me in a year or two, but they love their 300ms to me, when that happens and although they are management and make considerably more - prefer to drive their older reliable 300m to work, everyday - in fact two are them are preparing to give their 300m to their first teenage drivers instead of buying new due to the reliability, handling and solid nature of this car. My example is that I was in two accidents: In a chain reaction pile-up - I hit the back of a guy @ 45 mph on the worst stretch of road that is the most accident prone on my commute. The only damage to the 300 was bumper cover, hood, front struts/shocks, condensor"
