As work trucks go, the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado LD offers plenty to like. Trims range from basic to comfy, the standard V8 can tow up to 9,200 pounds and generous cash incentives make it more affordable than many competitors.
The Silverado LD comes in only one configuration and with one engine, so those looking for a crew cab, long box or diesel will need to shop the new Silverado or one of its competitors. Advanced driver assists like collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control are not available.
