What Owners are Saying About the 1997 Chevrolet Lumina
"Great running car!"
"Bought my 98’ Lumina LTZ from an older couple back in 2017 with 90k miles for 1500! It was garage kept and had a stack of maintenance records. I originally bought it as a winter beater but fell in love with it and treat it just as good as my nice car! Since I’ve owned it I’ve only done fluid changes and a tune up."
"Not sexy but reliable and comfortable"
"I received this car as a gift from a relative. I was going to give it to my brother as I have a Dodge Ram truck and what do I need two vehicles for? Well, I'm soooooo happy I kept the car. I use it for getting around town and have driven halfway across the country in it. Very comfortable and easy on the wallet. When gas prices spiked recently (I see they are going back up) I am really happy I have this car. The only fixes I've made were a battery terminal broke and leaked acid and, just this weekend, I replaced the alternator. Both were fixes I could do but things are tight under the hood. By the way, the freeway gas milage is great."
"Like a tank"
"I recently was in a car crash in one of these and it saved my life. I fell asleep and ran into a ditch that was at least 50 degree angle, jumped, and came to a stop. After panicking for a bit, I got back in the car, STARTED it, and drove it home. The motor was still good so I got another Lumina rolling chassis in good condition and swapped the motor to it. Still running to this day with 246K miles on it."
