Ford has confirmed some new mid-year updates to the 2026 Bronco lineup: new paint and roof options, upgraded tech, and even a Bronco-exclusive experience.
And yes, the Wildtrak lives on, but its role in the Bronco lineup has changed. The off-roading trim last seen in 2024 no longer stands on its own. Instead, it has been reintroduced for 2026 as an optional equipment package.
The package will only be available on the 4-door Bronco Badlands trim for an extra $11,945. The 2-door version will not get this option. Other features in the package include:
- 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine
- 10-speed automatic transmission
- HOSS 3.0 suspension
- FOX internal bypass dampers
Additionally, the Wildtrak package includes the Sasquatch and Black Appearance packages as standard. The Sasquatch package adds off-roading features such as 17-inch Matte Black rugged-terrain tires, higher clearance suspension, front and rear locking differentials, a shorter final drive ratio, and more. The Black Appearance package modifies exterior design elements like the door handles, grille, sideview mirrors, and roof.
Updates to the Bronco Lineup
Drivers will gain access to a striking Orange Fury metallic paint option later this year. This color was originally solely offered on the Ford Mustang, but it seems Ford has been making exceptions lately by offering exclusive colors on other models. More painted roof combinations will also be available on Outer Banks and Raptor models.
In addition to expanded customization, the Bronco lineup gains several new tech features. A SecuriCode keyless entry keypad allows drivers to access their vehicle without a key, while Ford’s partnership with onX provides access to a suite of outdoor navigation apps.
Ownership benefits even extend beyond the vehicle itself. Anyone who has purchased a Bronco from 2024 or later will be eligible to attend Bronco Off-Roadeo, an off-roading driving program that offers hands-on training in 4-wheel-drive techniques. Events will be held in Utah, New Hampshire, Nevada, Tennessee, and Texas.
All updates, including the Wildtrak package, will go into effect on 2026 Bronco models assembled on or after March 23, 2026.
