Tesla recalled 260 Model Y SUVs from model year 2026 because their reverse lights may fail to illuminate. This could leave other drivers unaware that a car is reversing, which could contribute to an accident.
Tesla tells federal safety officials that factory workers may not have properly attached a wire terminal. That leaves an easy fix — Tesla will inspect the wires and complete the attachment if necessary.
