Although the wraps won’t officially come off the all-new 2014 Toyota Corolla until June 6, the automaker has just released this first detail image of its upcoming compact model which draws inspiration from the well-received Toyota Corolla Furia Concept revealed last January at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. While it’s hard to tell from this close-up just how much of that striking one-off will become part of the production Corolla, this taillamp and decklid spoiler from the sporty "S" version do bear a more-than-causal resemblance to their counterparts on the Furia. We’re hoping a similar kind of family tie will be equally evident in the front-end treatment of the new Corolla.
