The nationwide average price of a gallon of gas today is $3.28. But in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia, drivers can get it for $1.99 this week. Sheetz gas stations are offering their annual tanks-giving promotion at most of its more than 400 stores across the mid-Atlantic.

The deal is good on 88-octane regular gasoline and lasts until Monday, Nov. 27 at 11:59 pm EST.
The last time you could fill your tank with gas priced at just $1.99 a gallon without a promotion — or a pandemic — was 2009. The Dark Knight was in theaters, and Adele won the Grammy for Best New Artist.
