Subaru has issued a recall for about 200,000 Impreza models from model years 2017 through 2019 because their headlights may be too dim.
It’s not the bulb that’s at issue but the reflector housing that directs the light. That makes the repair slightly more involved than simply installing a brighter bulb. Instead, dealers will replace the entire headlamp assembly on both sides. Notifications to owners of affected vehicles are expected to be mailed beginning in October.
