Recall Alert: Ford Mustang Over Fuel Lines

Ford has issued a recall for just 362 Mustangs from model year 2024 because of a fuel leak that could lead to a fire.

Ford tells federal safety officials that a supplier may have damaged some Mustang low-pressure fuel lines in the manufacturing process. The company is not aware of any customers who have found problems. But technicians discovered one damaged line at the factory.

To be safe, Ford plans to replace every fuel line from that production lot. Dealers will replace them free of charge.

Recall repairs are always free. Manufacturers attempt to contact every owner, but they don’t always get to reach them all. Find out if your car has ever been recalled at our recall center.
