Pininfarina ‘Sergio’ Concept will debut in Geneva


Paying homage to the genius who headed the organization for 40 years, fabled Italian design house Pininfarina has announced that it will unveil a one-off tribute to the late Sergio Pininfarina at the Geneva Auto Show next month. The car, officially dubbed the Sergio Concept, is meant to embrace Pininfarina’s creative spirit and translate it into "a modern vision in the name of exclusivity, innovation and passion."

During the course of his long and illustrious career, Sergio Pininfarina’s masterful touch could be seen in numerous automotive efforts, from the Bentley Azure to the Volvo C70. However, his name will forever be most closely linked with the cars of Ferrari. Among the most memorable Pininfarina-designed/inspired vehicles are the 250 GT, Dino 206/246, 308 GTS/GTB, Daytona, Enzo and F40.
