2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Now Arriving at Dealerships

The long-wheelbase version of Jeep’s new Grand Cherokee SUV is now on its way to dealerships. The 2021 Grand Cherokee L is the first 3-row version of Jeep’s venerable midsize SUV. It seats up to seven passengers with a second-row bench, or six when fitted with the available captain’s chairs.

The base Grand Cherokee L Laredo in rear-drive will carry an asking price of $36,995, plus a destination charge of $1,695. That price will get you a 3.6-liter V6 making 290 horsepower. Prices can climb to over $65,000 for a fully-equipped 4-wheel-drive Summit Reserve edition with a 5.7-liter V8 making 357 horsepower.

But it’s the Grand Cherokee L’s cabin that makes it stand out. This is one of Jeep’s best designs. Summit models feature heated and ventilated Nappa leather seating with quilted bolsters. Paired with open-pore wood trim, they look stunning. A big 10.25-inch display screen is standard. Color-changing ambient lighting adds to the elegant look.

If you like the look but aren’t sure about the size, Jeep will be rolling out a redesigned 2-row Grand Cherokee and larger 3-row Wagoneer in the coming months.
