More Than 11,000 Tesla Cybertrucks in Pair of Recalls

Tesla has issued two recalls, each affecting more than 11,000 copies of its 2024 Cybertruck electric pickup. Though Tesla can fix some problems remotely, each of these will require a service visit to fix.

One, affecting 11,383 trucks, involves trim inside the truck’s bed, which can become loose and fall off. Such an occurrence can create a road hazard for other drivers.

Tesla says it will “replace or rework” the trim to ensure it stays attached.

The other, affecting 11,688 trucks, involves the Cybertruck’s single massive windshield wiper. Tesla says the motor moving the heavy wiper can fail. The company will replace the motors to fix the problem.
