- Kia’s K5 midsize sedan will see a price increase and not much change for the 2027 model year.
The 2027 Kia K5 will start at $28,935, including a $1,245 destination fee. That’s a $200 increase from its 2026 model year price.
Little else will change for the new model year. Kia says the 2027 K5 is “largely a carryover model,” though a new convenience package for midpriced GT-Line models “includes ventilated seats, a driver memory seat and power-folding outside mirrors.”
Kia will discontinue the top-of-the-line EX model for 2027, though the GT-Line with Convenience Package largely takes its place.
Our editors like the K5 for its sporty driving dynamics, particularly in the up-powered GT model, and its long warranty. However, it lacks a hybrid option — an oddity in Kia’s otherwise hybrid-heavy lineup.
