Jeep Recalls Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer for Loose Window Trim

Jeep recalled 123,396 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer SUVs from model years 2022-2024 because a loose piece of trim on their windows can fall off and become a road hazard.

It’s nearly identical to a recall on some Wagoneers and Grand Wagoneers issued last week, so many dealers will likely take care of both fixes at the same time. In the previous recall, the trim could fall off into the car. In this action, it can fall off outside.

The company says a remedy for the problem is still under development. That likely means they’re working with suppliers to order replacement parts.

By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.
