In Final Year, Dodge Charger, Challenger Prices Fluctuate

The 2023 Dodge Charger and Challenger Scat Pack Swinger editionsThe Dodge Charger and Challenger hold a unique position in the American imagination. But they won’t hold it much longer. Both of Dodge’s old-school, oversized, muscular, rear-wheel-drive (RWD) cars are in their last year of production.

Dodge is rolling out a series of Last Call special editions of each, with first-come, first-serve sales instead of a reservation system (though there’s an online tracker that tells you which dealerships will have which models for sale at dodgegarage.com). We’re still waiting for details on the final Last Call model, which Dodge has been teasing in recent weeks with – we’re not making this up – brief videos of muscular, screaming leprechauns.

The big cars get price changes for their final year. Now that Dodge has updated its online configurator, we have the full list of price tags. But they don’t follow a simple pattern. Some models will get more expensive for 2023. Some get less.

What’s Next for Dodge

We know what you’re asking. Dodge has been the RWD muscle car company for years now. What will they be in a future without those?

Dodge’s future starts with the phrase “electric muscle car.” After that, we have almost as many questions as you do.
