A small number of Honda vehicles have been added to an earlier 2024 recall due to loose seat frames. After the initial recall, an investigation found that 32 additional vehicles were affected by this defect. Impacted vehicles include:

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that some bolts were improperly torqued during production of the driver’s seat frame and could loosen and fall off over time.

If a bolt falls off, the driver’s seat might wobble or become loose while driving, increasing the risk or severity of injury in a crash.

Honda dealers will fix this issue by replacing the driver’s seat cushion with the properly assembled part. The seat height adjuster links in the new parts have been correctly torqued, unlike the previous part.

Recall repairs are always free of charge. Owners with affected vehicles will be notified via mail by March 9, 2026.

Millions of cars are recalled, sometimes more than once. While automakers do their best to notify every vehicle owner affected by a recall, they don’t always reach everyone.
