Alfa Romeo issued a recall for 62,910 Stelvio SUVs and Giulia sedans from model years 2020-2025 because their rearview cameras may not display an image.
The company tells federal safety officials the cars may have a defect in a printed circuit board, a software problem, or both. The issues can leave the screen blank when backing up.
Dealers will update the software and replace the hardware, as necessary, to correct the problem.
Manufacturers recall many cars, often more than once, during their lifespan. Automakers try to contact every owner but don’t always reach them all. Discover if your vehicle has any outstanding recalls with the easy-to-use vehicle identification number (VIN) tool at our recall center.
