2027 Kia Sportage Pricing Barely Nudges

2027 Kia Sportage

The Kia Sportage compact SUV rolls into the 2027 model year with few changes, but the good news is that the automaker held pricing relatively flat. All trims see a modest $200 price increase for 2027, and there was no change to the $1,495 destination charge.

Pricing for the 2027 Kia Sportage gas-only model is as follows, including the $1,495 destination charge. The vehicle is on sale now.

  • Sportage LX FWD: $30,485
  • Sportage EX FWD: $32,285
  • Sportage X-Line AWD: $36,285
  • Sportage SX FWD: $36,085
  • Sportage SX Prestige FWD: $38,085
  • Sportage X-Pro AWD: $41,475

All-wheel drive (AWD) is an $1,800 upcharge for models equipped with front-wheel drive (FWD). Kia Sportage Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid models saw a $100 base price increase for 2027.

The only changes for 2027 come to the X-Line trim, which gains a standard panoramic sunroof and a power liftgate. Kia also offers a new Road Rider Brown exterior color with an available two-tone roof paint scheme.

Standard features include a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine making 187 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive. Models equipped with all-wheel drive add driving modes for snow, sand/mud, and other terrain.

A 12.3-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch gauge cluster with a 4.2-inch display screen come standard. Stepping up to the SX trim brings a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a Harman Kardon sound system. All Sportage models come with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2027 Kia Sportage hasn’t been crash-tested yet, but it should see similar scores to the 2026 model, which earned a Top Safety Pick+ designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the highest available. It offers generous driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, front and rear parking sensors, and more.
