- The 2027 Kia Sorento will start at a price just $200 higher than the 2026 model.
- The two model years are essentially identical.
Affordability is the buzzword for car shoppers this year, as the sale price of the average new car has recently inched back over the $50,000 mark. Prices usually increase in early fall as cars from the next model year begin to take over sales lots.
A few models, however, always resist the tide. Kia just announced pricing on the 2027 Sorento. It’s nearly identical to the SUV’s 2026 price.
The 2027 Sorento will start at $34,085 – just $200 more than the 2026 model’s $33,885 starting price. Both prices include a mandatory $1,495 destination fee.
The same pattern holds across all trim levels – each is just $200 more than the prior model year.
The 2026 and 2027 Sorento SUVs are essentially identical. The only change is a new color option: Jade Black Green replaces last year’s Jungle Green.
Our test drivers appreciate the Sorento’s flexible interior – it’s essentially a 2-row midsize SUV with a small fold-away third row not suitable for adults, but available in a pinch. When the third row is in use, cargo space is tight. We also appreciate its up-to-date tech suite and 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.
This popular model is also available as the Sorento Hybrid and Sorento Plug-in Hybrid. Pricing for 2027 versions of those has not yet been released.
