2025 Nissan Versa – America’s Cheapest Car Gets Pricier

For the 2025 model year, there will be one car for sale in the U.S. priced under $20,000. The 2025 Nissan Versa is the last sub-$20,000 car rolling out factory doors. Even it will see a price hike for the new model year.

The 2025 Versa will start at $18,330, including a mandatory $1,140 delivery fee.

There’s just one substantive change for the new model year – every Versa gets LED headlights. They were available only on the top-of-the-line Versa SR in 2024.

The 2025 Versa also includes up to three scheduled oil changes in the first two years or 24,000 miles.

Shoppers looking to spend as little as possible on a car under warranty might find a lot to like in the Versa. Its standard 122 horsepower is more than enough to get you where you’re going, and available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto bring you streaming entertainment and turn-by-turn directions.

Automatic emergency braking, front and rear, comes standard, along with lane-departure warning.

If the Versa doesn’t quite meet your needs, Nissan offers two other models with starting points under $25,000: the Sentra sedan and Kicks SUV.
