2025 Buick Enclave: New Design, Available Hands-Free Highway Driving

In the General Motors extended universe, Buick is the well-dressed character. GM has revamped its lineup of 3-row midsize SUVs for 2024, bulking up the Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia into boxier, brawnier 3-row SUVs with off-road ideas.

The Buick Enclave shares a platform with those models. So it’s all new for 2025. And while it’s clearly been going to the same gym, it covers the look in a finely-tailored outfit.

The 2025 Buick Enclave is all-new from the ground up. However, it forgoes the loud, rugged styling of GM’s other 3-row midsize SUVs, opting to smooth it all behind the sleek “wildcat” look of the new Buick lineup.

Buick hasn’t released pricing. The 2024 model starts at $45,925 (including the mandatory $1,395 destination charge), but we expect an increase to come with the redesign. The 2025 Buick Enclave is set to go on sale this summer.

Smoother Look Than Other GM SUVs

It may be the boxiest Buick, but it softens the look with a few well-placed curves and the sharp-nosed look now common to the whole Buick lineup. The grille may not be smaller than the giant grille look that’s currently trendy. But it seems smaller thanks to softer lines and a shape that narrows toward the top.

A wide 30-inch screen surface dominates the dash – a combination driver’s instrument panel and central touchscreen mounted in an inverted trapezoid right out of “The Jetsons.” If you’re reading about a Buick, you’re probably old enough to get the reference.

The dash appears to be all soft-touch surfaces and soft curves. A row of buttons beneath the big screen means not every function runs through menus. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

A 12-speaker Bose audio system is standard – 16 speakers in top-of-the-line Avenir versions.

Even base models get power heated seats. Avenir buyers also get seat cooling, a head-up display, and power-folding seats in the second and third rows.

328 Horsepower, Adjustable Suspension Available

GM’s Super Cruise hands-free highway driving system is available on every trim level.

Under the hood, you’ll find a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine making 328 hp. Buick will offer both front- and all-wheel-drive (FWD and AWD) variants. Every Enclave uses the same 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Avenir comes with a transmission that continuously adjusts damping to match road conditions for a smoother ride.
