What’s different about the exterior of the 2020 Toyota Tacoma?
The front fascia receives a new grille with designs tailored to each different trim level. New LED day-running headlamps frame the grille and c-shaped sequential turn signals finish off the complete look.
At the rear, the Tacoma gets a new taillight set up and on models such as the TRD Pro, additional features like Rigid Industry LED fog lights, and black-insert taillights give each trim unique personality. A 16-inch wheel color update in dark satin is also now available.
Is there anything new inside the cabin of the 2020 Toyota Tacoma?
While the base SR has a 7-inch touchscreen, the SR5 model and above get a new 8-inch display. Smartphone connectivity is the big news inside the Tacoma. Toyota is a holdout no more for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which are now both standard across all trim levels. Amazon’s Alexa is also available.
The TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road models have an optional 6-speaker JBL premium audio system that adds dynamic navigation, which comes standard on Limited and TRD Pro.
Big news for Tacoma drivers is the addition of an electronically powered seat. No, that should not sound like big news, but here it is. A 10-way adjustable seat including lumbar support comes standard on the SR5 V6 models and above.
