The 2019 Jaguar XJ50 is a new special edition model that marks the 50th anniversary of the model in the British automaker’s lineup. Shown at the Beijing Motor Show, the new model is slated for a global rollout later in the year including the U.S. market.
The 2019 XJ50 is based on the long-wheelbase version of Jaguar’s flagship sedan and will be offered with a choice of a 340-horsepower supercharged V6 with all- or rear-wheel drive and a rear-drive only 470-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 variant.
Exterior styling cues for the XJ50 include unique front and rear fascias, 20-inch wheels with a black diamond-turned finish, gloss black grille insert, and special badging. The car will be available in four colors, white, black, blue and red.

The cabin is outfitted in soft-grain diamond-quilted leather with embossed Jaguar logos and an XJ50 badge on the center console. Aluminum paddle shifters, bright metal pedals, an and illuminated sill kickplate complete the look.

More details and pricing are expected to be announced closer to the XJ50’s on sale date.
