Nissan announced that the 2018 Titan and Titan XD pickups are now available in a new Midnight Edition Package, which gives the truck a special blacked out look. The new package costs an extra $1,250 and features a black grille, darkened headlamps, black fog lamp finisher, black badges, black mirrors and door handles, black bumpers, 20-inch black wheels, and black step rails. The interior is trimmed in a dark charcoal and the truck features a special Midnight Edition exterior badge.
The Midnight Edition is available on 2018 Titan and Titan XD front-wheel and four-wheel drive crew cab models, in the SV or SL trims. It’s also available on the Titan XD diesel 4×4 truck. Other brands such as Chevrolet have offered blackened out appearance packages to offer choices to customers who want a customized look.
The Japanese automaker also released pricing for its 2018 Titan and Titan XD lineup. The base Titan single cab starts at $29,780 for an S trim rear-wheel drive model. The heavy-duty XD begins at $31,790 for a single cab S trimmed 4X2, while a diesel single cab rear-wheel drive version in the S trim begins at $37,340.

At the top of the line, the 2018 Titan Platinum crew cab 4×4 begins at $56,050, while a crew cab, 4×4 off-road Pro-4X model starts at $45,670. A 2018 Titan XD, crew cab 4×4 Platinum truck with a gas engine starts at $58,110, while a diesel Platinum crew cab 4×4 begins at $63,360. All pricing excludes a $1,295 destination and handling fee.
The Titan and Titan XD are available in single cab, king cab and crew cab versions in up to five trim levels. The gasoline powered trucks have a 5.6-liter V8 engine under the hood, cranking out 390 horsepower. Those trucks are mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. The heavy-duty XD diesels are powered by a Cummins 5-liter V8 turbo diesel and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
