2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabrio Stars in Geneva

Mercedes-Benz will be bringing a number of new faces to the Geneva Motor Show, but the most notable will be the first appearance in production form of the new 2018 E-Class Cabriolet. We had an early first encounter with a prototype version of this stylish 4-seat convertible last month, noting that it will transition from being the oldest to the newest drop-top in the automaker’s lineup. Soon, we’ll have a chance to see it without any camo-wrap cover up.

Benefitting from all of the mechanical and technological updates of the latest W123-generation E-Class platform, this new open variant promises to match its outstanding style with equally impressive performance, efficiency and safety, whether top up or top down. Due here in E400 form, and backing its 329-horsepower/3.0-liter twin-turbo with a 9-speed automatic, the car will be available in rear- and all-wheel drive configurations.
