Updates to the 2018 Honda Fit include the addition of a new Sport trim, two new colors and tech features including Honda Sensing, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The subcompact hatchback anchoring the entry level of the Honda range starts at $16,190 plus $875 delivery.
The new Sport model brings the number of trim levels on the Fit to four: LX, Sport, EX and EX-L. Sport models start at $17,500 and feature a 6-speed manual transmission mated to the 130-horsepower 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine offered across the range. A CVT automatic is $1,800 extra. The Sport trim includes aggressive front spoiler and rear diffuser treatments, chrome exhaust tips, side sill garnishes and a black cloth interior with orange contrast stitching.

Honda Sensing and other updates
For the first time, the full suite of Honda Sensing advanced safety and driver assist features are being offered on the Fit Sport for an added cost of $1,000 and is standard on the EX and EX-L models. The package includes adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist and departure warning and road departure mitigation. A 7-inch touchscreen featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is included on Fit Sport, EX and EX-L models.
The Fit also benefits from retuned shocks, a more rigid steering mount and additional body reinforcements. Interior noise levels are also decreased thanks to the use of improved transmission mounting hardware, additional insulation and the use of laminated glass.
Pricing for the Fit EX starts at $18,160 for the manual, $18,960 for the automatic, while the EX-L is $20,520 and $21,520 for the EX-L with navigation.
