New EcoSport: No CD for you

At the other end of its SUV spectrum, Ford confirmed the new EcoSport mini-ute that will launch here early next year will not be available with a CD player but instead will offer Wi-Fi connectivity. It cited millennial’s marked preferences for streaming and subscription audio as the main impetus behind the move, which will see the dash space it vacates occupied by new horizontal stow bin above the glovebox. The automaker also said the EcoSport will offer its own version of the B&O PLAY Premium Audio System as well as Sync Connect with FordPass.
