Alfa’s comeback in the U.S. market hinges on the success of its foray into the crossover SUV sphere and our initial impressions of the 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, the high- performance flagship of the line, are overwhelmingly positive. But getting into this latest Porsche Macan fighter from Italy will come at a price.
The Italian auto maker announced that the base price for the Stelvio Quadrifoglio is $79,995 plus $1,595 destination. That’s for a 2-row crossover with a massive 505 horsepower from its Ferrari-sourced 2.9-liter twin turbo V6. It can accelerate to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and tops out at 179 mph.
