Toyota announced pricing for three more members of its 2017 lineup which arrive in showrooms during the next three to four weeks. Revealed this spring at the 2016 New York Auto Show, the updated 2017 Toyota 86 – previously known as the Scion FR-S – will open at $27,120 when fitted with the standard 6-speed manual transmission and $27,840 with the optional 6-speed automatic. Those figures represent increases of $950 and $570, respectively, but also reflect more aggressive front-end styling and new standard LED headlamps along with gains in both horsepower and torque ratings that brings those to numbers to 205 and 156 as well as several lesser detail enhancements.

Also previewed in New York, the updated 2017 Toyota Corolla family gets its own new look that starts with a bolder grille, revamped LED headlamps and redesigned wheels on all six trim levels – L, LE, LE Eco, SE, XSE and XLE as well as the limited-run 50th Anniversary Edition. The upgraded cabins on all Corollas bring richer fabrics and revised Entune audio systems while the existing Star Safety System gets bolstered by the new Toyota Safety Sense-P (TSS-P) technology that bundles Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Automatic High Beams. Pricing for the 2017 Toyota Corolla family has risen by 1.5 percent on average and now ranges from $19,365 for a Corolla L with a CVTi-S (intelligent shift) automatic to $23,545 for a Corolla XSE CVTi-S.
Now rebadged as the 2017 Toyota Corolla iM, this former Scion hatchback is largely carryover for the new season but does gain one notable upgrade in the form of a standard Toyota Safety Sense C (TSS-C) package that brings Lane Departure Alert, Automatic High Beams and a Pre-Collision System that can help prevent or mitigate collisions. Pricing for the 2017 Corolla iM starts at $19,615 when you pair its 137-horsepower/1.8-liter engine with the standard 6-speed manual transmission or $20,355 when you choose the optional 6-speed CVTi-S Automatic with Sport Sequential Shiftmatic Mode. Both numbers are $290 above their respective 2016 stickers.
