The first 2017 Bentley Bentayga rolled off the assembly line in Crewe, England, an event that marked the start of a new era for the British automaker. Bentley said its first-ever SUV model took 130 hours of handcrafted build time as it made its way through new body and paint shops en route to completion. Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman and Chief Executive of Bentley Motors, noted the Bentayga will be "the benchmark against which all other SUVs are measured" and define the luxury SUV segment.
