Bentley released additional images of lightly disguised prototypes of its all-new Bentayga undergoing high-altitude off-road testing in Spain. The automaker’s first-ever ultra-luxury SUV will be reveal at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September and will arrive at dealers here sometime next year as a 2017 model. We expect to hear more about pricing when the wraps come off in Germany, it’s anticipate the Bentayga will open somewhere between $250,000 and $300,000.

Although Bentley provided no new information about this "sector-defining SUV," it has previously confirmed that the Bentayga will offer a selection powertrains to work with its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system highlighted by a 6.0-liter twin-tubocharged W12 culled from the Continental/Flying Spur. That engine will be tuned to crank out in excess of 600 horses and reportedly give this go-anywhere hauler a 200-mph top speed. Other Bentayga models are expected to include a twin-turbo V8 and a plug-in hybrid.
