2016 Range Rover Evoque teased

A revamped 2016 Range Rover Evoque will debut next month at the Geneva Auto Show. The most successful vehicle ever produced by Land Rover will receive a number of key enhancements, starting with the availability of full LED lighting — including new adaptive headlamps – in a signature design seen in this preview image. According to Gerry McGovern, Land Rover’s design director, the main challenge in executing this mid-cycle remix was to enhance the Range Rover Evoque’s highly successful character without diluting its iconic design. "The refreshments give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotional appeal that has made it so popular with more than 400,000 customers around the world," he observed.

In addition to various cosmetic changes, the 2016 Range Rover Evoque will also benefit from the use of the JLR’s new Ingenium engine family first seen in the new Jaguar XE as well as numerous added comfort/convenience touches. More details – and possibly a new image or two — will be released next week. That follow-up could well include news that a convertible version of the Evoque that’s been seen testing in prototype form also will get its global reveal in Geneva.
