Nissan released a teaser image of its new 2016 Juke-R Nismo that will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England. No word yet on exactly what will motivate this extremely limited-edition Gen III version, but the most recent Juke-R iteration released in 2012 was fitted with a version of the 545-horsepower twin-turbo V6 from the 2012 Nissan GT-R. If that past does foretell what’s to come, expect pony count of this new Juke-R to approach 600, equaling what the engine develops in the latest and most potent form appearing in the current GT-R Nismo model.

We’re told the new Juke-R Nismo will explode onto the scene at Goodwood on June 25th loaded with the latest technology, styling and running gear from the Japanese automaker’s performance products division and once again be "a supercar-beating crossover." It remains to be seen if any of these road rockets will be offered in the U.S.
