2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate: Elegance defined

Adding upscale character to the range-topping version of its full-size pickup, the 2016 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate debuted in Los Angeles. Available on the Sierra 1500 4WD crew cab models with 5-foot 8-inch of 6-foot 6-inch bed lengths, the new Ultimate builds on the Denali more-is-better legacy by expanding the roster of standard equipment with a sunroof, articulated Tri-Mode Power Steps that move rearwards to facilitate access to the bed, as well as chrome tow hooks and 22-inch wheels with a chrome or black insert finish. The Ultimate also has IntelliBeam automatic headlamps and Lane Keep Assist.

Like the current Sierra Denali, the Ultimate will come with a standard 5.3-liter 355-horsepower V8 mated to the new Hydra-Matic 8L90 eight-speed automatic transmission. Those needing additional towing power can opt for the more potent 420-horse/6.2-liter V8 that’s also backed by the 8-speed autosmatic with Active Noise Cancellation.

"This truck is the ultimate expression of the Sierra Denali with greater emphasis on the bold and refined presence and advanced features that make Denali models synonymous with precision and exclusivity." The 2016 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate arrives during the first quarter of next year and pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
