2015 BMW Individual 6 Series Gran Coupe Bang & Olufsen Edition

Featuring the ultimate audio upgrade to its striking 6 Series 4-door coupe, the BMW Individual 6 Series Gran Coupe Bang & Olufsen Edition will be heading to U.S. dealers this summer in limited numbers. A total of 100 650i and all-wheel-drive 650xi vehicles – including 10 M6 variants equipped with the Competition Package – are set to arrive in the U.S. and orders are currently being taken on a first-come/first-serve basis.

As one might expect, the key differentiator of the Bang & Olufsen Edition vehicles is a seriously enhanced audio package, in this case, a new 16-speaker/1200-watt B & O High End Surround Sound System with unique loudspeaker grilles that feature a brushed black aluminum finish. The cars also will include a set of black BeoPlay H6 high-end headphones in a matching finish. Other comfort/convenience items on the Bang & Olufsen 650i and all-wheel-drive 650xi variants include the Cold Weather Package as well as the M Sport Edition which is comprised of the M Sport Package, Executive Package, LED Lighting Package and Driver Assistance Plus Package. The upgraded interiors on these rare sonic-boomers feature handcrafted Merino Leathers in either Black or two-tone Opal White and Black, both with contrast stitching/piping. The package also sports Piano Black Wood Trim with a "Bang-& Olufsen" inlay on the front cup-holder lid and custom floor mats. 

Beyond its comprehensive roster of standard equipment, the M6 Gran Coupe Bang & Olufsen Edition also features the Executive Package and Driver Assistance Plus Package along with the high-performance Competition Package that bumps output of its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 from 560 to 575 horsepower – the most of any BMW production model. This hot variant also tweaks its similarly upgraded cabin treatment with signature "M" logos embroidered into the headrests of its front sport bucket seats.

Buyers of the 2015 BMW Individual 6 Series Gran Coupe Bang & Olufsen Edition will be able to choose from either Brilliant White Metallic or Dark Graphite II Metallic exterior colors. Pricing for a 650i B & O Edition starts at $116,240 with the 650xi opening at $119,240 and the M6 B & O Edition commanding $152,423.
