While offering no specifics on the vehicle, Audi has released a brief teaser video showing veiled images of a car that will have its first public showing in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
Based on existing information – and the shape of what’s under the drape – the mystery model looks to be a facelifted version of the automaker’s flagship sedan, which is expected to go on sale here next spring as the 2015 Audi A8.
Given the detail image showing a carbon-ceramic brake fitment, it seems that Audi plans to present both the standard A8 and its high-performance S8 alter ego. Audi promises to show and tell more in an online reveal that will take place in August.
